Final Report and Raw Data File Submission

All teams were emailed the instructions for the final report submission on 11/18/24. However, enterprise servers might have blocked or “quarantined” the email (so it won’t show up in SPAM) because of the submission link. The following message contains the email message.

The Marketing Research Competition's final reports are due November 27, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Each team needs one person to upload their final report using this Google Forms link: https://forms.gle/NEtkGfeWDVbTTPJo7

What are we looking for in the report?

The final report must be no longer than a 20-page PowerPoint. If a survey was used to collect data, a copy of the survey must accompany report. If a different method was used to collect data, such as focus groups or observations, the team must upload the field notes and/or transcripts of the interviews.

  • No mention of the university name anywhere in the report.

  • No mention of student names. The competition will assign each team a random team name when they receive their case study. This is how we will identify the teams.

  • Executive Summary should be between 1-2 pages long and included in the PowerPoint deck.

  • Methodology section must outline when data was collected, how it was collected, where it was collected, and if incentives were provided (explain how much was offered).

  • The body of the report, Results and Managerial Recommendations, should address client objectives from the RFP.

What is the rubric used to grade the report?

2024 Competition Grading Criteria:

  1. Demonstrates competence in collecting, analyzing and reporting on marketing research data.

  2. Provides client actionable recommendations.

  3. Demonstrates understanding in the research objectives and why they are a marketing problem.
